🔁 Transfers
App 📱 and Coin 💰 fare payments include 2 free transfers on connecting NICE bus routes within 2 hours.
If you pay with coins, the bus operator will issue a paper transfer to dip into the farebox of the next bus. If you pay with an app, just show the same e-ticket to the operator on the next bus.
💳 Tap fare payments include 2 free transfers on connecting subway, MTA bus or NICE bus routes within 2 hours.
You will automatically receive the transfer on your next tap as long as you use the same card or device.
Help! I was supposed to receive a free transfer with OMNY but was charged again!
It may be a "pending charge." Pending charges are temporary placeholders from your bank that may appear after tapping your device. If the tap qualifies for a free ride or transfer, you will not be charged once your bank removes the placeholder.
