🧭 Where


  • City Routes go further into Queens to connect with the Subway. When using City Routes in Queens, your trip must cross the City/Nassau border. You cannot get on AND off in Queens on the same trip. (Why?)

  • County Routes stay mostly within Nassau County

  • See Maps for the whole network

  • See Schedules for where each route travels

  • Connections are available with MTA, SCT, AirTrain, Long Beach & HART



💵 How Much


  • Walk-up fare is $3.00

  • Tap a credit, debit or OMNY card, or show an e-ticket

  • You can also pay with coins (no bills or pennies)

  • To use paper bills, load to an OMNY card in advance

Questions?

Bikes inside the bus are strictly prohibited. Some n6 and n88X trips are planned to operate bike racks on the front.

Weekdays 6-9a & 3-6p

We occassionally partner with local institutions seeking to provide discounts to their students, but we don't have a permanent program. Check with your school to see if the have any active partnerships with NICE.

Nassau Inter-County Express

As the official transit provider in New York City, MTA serves trips entirely within Queens. NICE routes primarily enter Queens to connect with the Subway.
