   - If you pay with coins, the bus operator will issue a paper transfer to dip in the next bus' farebox

   - If you pay with GoMobile or Transit app, just show the same e-ticket on the next bus

OMNY tap payments include 2 free transfers on connecting subway, MTA bus or NICE bus lines within 2 hours.

 

   - You will automatically receive the transfer on your next tap

Help! I was supposed to receive a free transfer with OMNY but was charged again! 
It may be a "pending charge." Pending charges are temporary placeholders from your bank that may appear after tapping your device. If the tap qualifies for a free ride or transfer, you will not be charged once your bank removes the placeholder.
